IALFM’s Funeral Committee helps families in our community arrange Salat-ul-Janazah at the masjid in Flower Mound — at no charge.
How to get help
Email the Funeral Committee as early as possible. Someone from the committee will contact you directly to guide and help you through the process.

What the committee helps with
- Arranging a suitable day and time for the funeral prayer (Salat-ul-Janazah).
- A private viewing at the masjid, if the family wishes.
- Guidance on transportation for the funeral prayer and the viewing.
- Counseling with the Imam, at the family’s request.
- Community announcements for the funeral prayer and related gatherings such as ‘Azza and du‘a, at the family’s request.
Costs
IALFM does not charge for this help. The funeral home, where the deceased is prepared, and the Muslim cemetery, where the deceased is laid to rest, have their own charges.
